Chestnut Cream

For centuries chestnuts have been the bread of the poor; now they are used in many dishes of our cuisine and, especially in this spread.

Chestnut cream is amazing and exquisite; delicious spread on bread or to fill desserts and tarts, but also to eat by the spoonful.

Chestnuts are a very precious fruit: inside a brown, big, and resistant shell, there is a pulp that has extraordinary energy and nutritional characteristics. With a nutritional value comparable to that of wholemeal bread, chestnuts also provide important minerals such as phosphorus and potassium, essential vitamins B2 and PP for tissue health, a good percentage of fibers, and folic acid.
